Your first reviewed pull request

About five minutes, all on your own Mac. Nothing here needs an account, a card, or a terminal.

1. Get the Mac app

   Enter your email at prradar.app and open the link we send. Drag PR Radar into Applications and open it. It lives in your menu bar, up by the clock.

2. Connect GitHub

   A short checklist opens on first launch. It walks you through creating a classic GitHub personal access token, with a link that ticks the two boxes it needs, and takes it into the Keychain. repo lets PR Radar see pull requests in private repositories and post reviews and comments as you; read:org is how GitHub names the organisations you belong to.

   Make it the classic kind rather than fine-grained: a fine-grained token is limited to the owner and repositories picked when it is made, so it can sign in and still show a short or empty queue. Your token never leaves this Mac.

3. Pick an engine

   PR Radar reviews with the account you already have: Claude Code if it is installed, Kimi, or a local model through Ollama for code that must not leave the machine. The checklist detects what is there and says what is missing.

4. Press Review

   Click the radar in the menu bar. Pull requests where somebody asked for your review are already listed - pick one and press Review. Watch the transcript as it reads the diff, runs its tools and reaches a verdict with findings, file and line.

   By default the review posts as you when it finishes: pressing Review is the consent. To read each one before it goes up, first switch off Post reviews I start myself in Settings, under Reviewer. The review then waits for you, with Preview to show exactly what posting would say and Post to send it.

5. Let it watchPro · join the waitlist
